Instructor: Lauren Morris
This Science course will use the Ecosystem unit study from the Good and the Beautiful. Take your geography skills a bit further and learn about how each unique ecosystem
impacts life around us. Explore the wonders of the vast world that surrounds us, from the amazing creations found in your own backyard to the most extreme biomes on Earth, in the updated Ecosystems science unit. Every little part of the earth, from the drops of water in the ocean, to lumbering elephants, to each unique person is an important part of our world.

Social studies: world geography
Wednesdays | 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
$60 / semester*
Instructor: Amanda Krehbiel
This World Geography class will encompass many different aspects of geography with interactive virtual travels around the world. We will spend the two semesters covering all seven continents, and looking at a few main countries in each. We will study things such as landforms, map skills, ecosystems, animals, and many hands on activities related to that country. Sometimes it may even include cultural snacks and games. In the 3rd through 5th grade class, students will participate in research/note taking skills during class. In the 6th through 8th, there will also be an expectation of an at home country research project to present in class. This class will compile passports, portfolios, experiences of all the countries we visit and learn about. The students will walk away with a wider perspective of the great world which God has created for us to live in.
*Pricing does not include additional program fees. Scholarships available.
