Hands-on learning, friendship, and Christian encouragement for young homeschool students.
Journey Together’s K–2 classes are designed to give young homeschool students a gentle, engaging place to learn, play, and grow with others. Through hands-on activities, age-appropriate instruction, Christian encouragement, and time for friendship, students are invited into a weekly rhythm that supports curiosity, confidence, and community.

Program Offerings
All About Me
Wednesdays | 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
$60 / semester*
Every child is special and one of a kind! This unit study from How Wee Learn will guide your child to discover more about themselves, their families, and what makes them truly unique. Topics covered are what's my name, who's in my family, where do I live, what's my phone number, what do I look like, I am special, how I can stay healthy, my talents, when I grow up, and I am unique. These topics will be taught through hands-on activities and incorporate science, geography, history, social studies, art, music, math enrichment, and literacy.
Animal Enthusiasts
Wednesdays | 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
$60 / semester*
We will dive into the fascinating world of mammals! Explore what makes a mammal a mammal, and learn all about bears, bats, elephants, blue whales, humans, and the uniquely fascinating platypus. This unit study by How Wee Learn will be taught with hands-on activities, discussions, curated youtube videos, reading books, math and literacy enrichment, art, and a lot of fun!
Play & Learn
Wednesdays | 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
$90 / semester*
This class will have the most fun diving into imaginative play full of adventure and learning! This class is designed to transform everyday learning into imaginative, play based experiences. Engaging activities covering imaginative play, literacy, math, art, fine motor skills, and problem solving. Each month the scene will change as we explore and learn through an art gallery, our own bakery, little flower shop, safari adventure and much more!

Meet the Instructor
Jenny Ricker
Jenny Ricker is a Christian, wife, mother of four, and has a heart to connect with and teach young children. With 20 years of experience working with children and families as a licensed child and family therapist specializing in young children, she is passionate about raising healthy children who know who they are and how they can contribute to the world in a positive way. She believes children learn best when they feel safe and connected. She taught last year in a homeschool group with children kindergarten age creating a fun learning environment with lots of play based activities.
