About Us
Journey Together is a ministry of Heartland Christian Ministries Association (HCMA), rooted in our mission of empowering churches to transform communities through faith-based education. Our homeschool collective reflects what is possible when churches and educators partner to support families.
We exist to support homeschool families by enriching students’ education and discipleship in a Christ-centered community while helping lighten the load for homeschooling parents. Join us for a day of collaborative learning, community, and worship.
Why We Started Journey Together
Homeschooling is a gift, but it can also feel isolating. Families need encouragement, students need friendships, and parents often need practical academic support without giving up the heart of home education.
Journey Together was created to offer a simple, structured way for homeschool families to gather each week for learning, worship, discipleship, and community.
Our Heart
Christian Formation
We want students to grow not only academically, but spiritually. Chapel, Bible teaching, and discipleship are woven into the rhythm of the day.
Meaningful Learning
Students participate in structured classes led by caring instructors who want to help them grow in knowledge, confidence, and curiosity.
Support For Homeschool Families
Journey Together is designed to encourage the whole family, with options for students and opportunities for moms to connect through fellowship and book club.
How We Support Families
Journey Together is not meant to replace the homeschool family. It is meant to strengthen it. Families can choose the level of participation that fits them, whether that means one class, a full day, high school support, dual credit opportunities, or simply a place to build community.
